Danville rolled past Ridgedale 57–40 in a non‑conference varsity boys basketball matchup, controlling the pace from the jump.
The game was played Feb. 10 at Ridgedale High School.
Danville shook off an early deficit after trailing 11–10 at the end of the first quarter and steadily took command before halftime, settling into their rhythm on both ends of the floor. The Blue Devils leaned on balanced scoring, crisp ball movement and steady defensive pressure to flip the momentum, building a 25–20 lead at the break and never letting Ridgedale regain its footing.
They widened the gap in the third quarter with disciplined half‑court execution, then slammed the door with a decisive 16–7 fourth‑quarter run that showcased their depth and conditioning. By the final buzzer, the Blue Devils had secured a 17‑point road win, improving to 18–3 overall and stretching their winning streak to five games as they continue to sharpen their postseason form.
Danville hosts Northside Christian in a Feb. 24 tournament matchup, looking to extend the momentum they built earlier this season with a disciplined, defense‑first identity that has carried them through key stretches.
The Blue Devils last faced the Lions in Westerville on March 2, 2024, when they fell 55–28 in that road tournament game.
