Danville secured a 54-41 victory over Northmor in the Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference boys basketball game held on Saturday, January 3, at Danville High School.
According to reports from the game, Danville maintained control throughout all four quarters, outscoring Northmor early and holding onto their lead with strong defensive play. The Blue Devils scored 11 points in the first quarter, 13 in the second, and 15 in both the third and fourth quarters. In contrast, Northmor managed 7, 8, 16, and 10 points respectively during those periods. Danville’s balanced offense enabled them to extend their lead after halftime while their defense restricted Northmor’s scoring opportunities towards the end of the game.
Looking ahead, Danville is set to host Mt. Gilead on Tuesday, January 13, for a home conference matchup scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
The previous encounter between Danville and Northmor on the boys’ basketball court occurred on January 28, 2025, when Northmor emerged victorious with a score of 65-51.
