The Danville Blue Devils secured a decisive 36-12 victory over the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates on Friday night, marking their second consecutive win and leveling their record in conference play.
According to reports, the game took place on October 3 at Danville High School, where the Blue Devils maintained control throughout. The team quickly established dominance by taking an 8-6 lead in the first quarter and extending it to 16-6 by halftime. In the second half, Danville’s offense continued its strong performance, adding 14 unanswered points in the third quarter. The defense also played a crucial role, limiting the Pirates to just one touchdown after halftime. This victory highlighted Danville’s resilience and depth as they improved their overall record to 4-3 and 2-2 in league play, reentering discussions for playoff contention.
