The Danville Blue Devils displayed determination on Friday night but ultimately fell short in a 33-18 loss to Fredericktown during an Ohio conference matchup. Despite the defeat, the young Danville team showed resilience and strong offensive execution under their freshman quarterback.

The game took place on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Fredericktown High School. According to reports, Danville struck early and kept pace in the first half, trailing just 27-12 at halftime. Freshman quarterback Parker Proper delivered an impressive performance by completing 11 of 14 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 100 yards and another score. Proper accounted for 207 of Danville’s total 220 yards, demonstrating poise beyond his years.

Freshman Briggs Wallace contributed with 33 all-purpose yards, while junior Brycen Burke and senior Austin Addair each made key receptions to sustain drives. The Blue Devils’ offense showed balance and precision, averaging nearly nine yards per carry and completing over 78 percent of their passes.

Although Fredericktown capitalized on key red-zone opportunities, Danville continued to fight throughout all four quarters. With a talented young core gaining valuable experience, the Blue Devils’ future appears promising as they continue to grow stronger with each game.
