The Loudonville Redbirds secured a commanding victory over the Danville Blue Devils with a final score of 55–22 in girls varsity basketball action at Danville High School.
The game, part of the Knox-Morrow Conference girls basketball schedule, took place on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Danville, Ohio. According to reports from the game, Danville struggled to keep pace with Loudonville. The Blue Devils remained competitive during the first quarter, trailing by just two points at 8–6. However, Loudonville extended their lead significantly in the second and third quarters with scores of 17–7 and 16–4 respectively. The final quarter concluded with a score of 14–5, leaving Danville unable to bridge the gap.
Loudonville’s offensive efforts were led by Olivia Stephens with 15 points, Mia Carter contributing 12 points, and Emma Hill adding another 10 points. On the other side, Rachel Miller was Danville’s leading scorer with seven points followed by Jenna Thomas who scored five points. The Redbirds’ balanced attack and defensive pressure during the middle quarters played a crucial role in their decisive victory.
Looking ahead, Danville is set to face Northridge in their next girls varsity basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Previously this year on January 25th, Loudonville had also defeated Danville with a score of 52-19 in another Knox-Morrow Conference matchup.
